Ingredients
Wrap
There are lots of options for wraps out there. Choose the one that makes you feel good. Here is a list of options:
- Whole Grain Wrap
- Tortilla
- Almond Flour Wrap
- Cheese Wrap
- Leafy Greens
Turkey
Use any turkey in this wrap. Leftover Thanksgiving turkey or your favorite lunch meat turkey will do. Delis typically offer a low sodium turkey. Peppered turkey is delicious in this wrap.

Spread
Does it get much better than cream cheese? Mild, creamy, and goes with just about anything. It’s the perfect layer to keep your wrap from getting soggy. Spread the cream cheese on first and top with a thin layer of fig jam.
If you aren’t familiar with fig jam, by golly, get ya some! Typically found in the deli department of a grocery store or specialty shop, fig jam is one of my favorites on a charcuterie board. It pairs great with cheese of all varieties and is delightful with Turkey.
Try my Peach & Brie Pizza on the grill recipe. It uses fig jam for the “sauce”.
Like things not so sweet? Swap out the fig jam for Dijon mustard.
Apples and Dried Cranberries
Any apple will do here, just make sure you slice it thin. You will only need half the apple in the wrap. Either eat the rest, give to the kids, or wrap in plastic for later use.
Dried cranberries add tartness and texture. You can sub these for raisins, if you aren’t a fan.
Pumpkin seeds would be another ingredient that would add texture. Sprinkle them in if you have them.

Arugula
Peppery with a pop of color, arugula is the green to go with in this Apple Harvest Turkey Wrap with fig jam.
Cheese
Yes, you have already spread cream cheese on the wrap. Do you need more cheese? My heart says, yes. Goat cheese, blue cheese, or feta are all great options for a little bit of tanginess.
Pile It On & Wrap It Up
Does the way you assemble a wrap matter? Yes! These are the steps for layering this Fall Wrap:
- Spread wrap with cream cheese then a small amount of fig jam.
- Sprinkle with dried cranberries, they’ll stick to the jam and not fall out (as easily).
- Lay out the arugula, sliced apples, then sprinkle on the cheese.
- Lastly, lay down the turkey.
- Wrap it up and enjoy!
To ensure that it stays wrapped tight. Wrap it in plastic wrap or a piece of parchment
Use a toothpick.
1 day for sure. If going for 2 days, make sure your turkey is dry (blot with paper towel).
