Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tbsp Cumin
  • 1 tbsp Smoked Paprika or regular
  • 2 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper black or cayenne
  • 2 tsp Granulated Garlic or powder
  • 2 tsp Granulated Onion or powder
  • 1 tsp Oregano dried

Instructions

  • Measure out spices in bowl. Whisk together. Pour in jar with lid.

Notes

This is equivalent to 4 taco packets.
A taco packet is equal to 3 tablespoons of taco spice.
2-3 Tablespoons of seasoning is perfect for 1 pound of meat.
Typically, with a taco packet, water is added. This creates a sauce because there is some kind of thickening agent in the packet. This can be accomplished with this seasoning mix by whisking 1/2 tbs corn starch and 1/2 cup cold water in a cup and adding to 1# of meat.
