stuffed dates with almonds and goat cheese

Easy Stuffed Date Appetizer

Sara Walkenbach
4 ingredients, 15 minutes, absolutely delicious! These are great by themselves or on a charcuterie board. Tangy goat cheese balances out the sweetness from the date, and the almonds bring the crunch!

Notes

To make a balsamic reduction (glaze): Bring good quality vinegar to a gentle boil, reduce to a simmer for 8-10 minutes. It will thicken as it cools, so pull it off the heat just before your desired thickness.
For this recipe, start with 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup vinegar. I like to use an 18 year aged vinegar. It's so good!
This recipe will work with other cheeses as well: cream cheese, blue cheese, mascarpone.
